Session 1 - What is the Real Answer to Addiction
Addiction is a worldwide epidemic. In this session, we discuss the problem of addiction, hear a story of hope, and are introduced to Jesus as the real answer to addiction.
Session 2 - The New You
In this session, we take a look at Luke 15 to get a picture of our new identity in Christ. Before jumping into the action steps, we must internalize our new identity as children of God.
Session 3 - No More Isolation
No one can do life or recovery alone. We were made to live in relationship with others. In this session, we take a look at the importance of community in relation to finding forever freedom in Christ.
Session 4 - Murdering Your Past
In this session, we jump into the hard work of taking out the trash of our past through confession, repentance, and serious action steps.
Session 5 - Enjoying God
Once we meet Jesus, understand our identity, root ourselves in community, and deal with our past, we must jump headfirst into the presence of God. This session is all about how to enjoy God more through spiritual and physical disciplines!
Session 6 - Wild Mission
We have been saved and set free, but now it's time to be sent on mission by Jesus Christ! This session shows us how to love others and advance God's Kingdom on earth.
Session 7 - Forever Freedom
Many people claim, "relapse is part of the recovery process," but Jesus offers us a better way. In this session, we take a look at the parable of the sower in Luke 8 for insight on how to never relapse again.
Session 8 - Suffering Well
Internal and external pain is part of life, but we can "count it all joy," by looking to Jesus. In this session, we look at the many benefits of pain, including, intimacy, growth, purpose, and eternity.
Week 9 - Leaving a Legacy
In the last session, we take a look at how Jesus healed the demoniac in Luke 8 in hopes to launch into a life that leaves a legacy inside and outside of the home.
